The Center for Media at Risk Newsletter, “On Our Radar,” is a monthly rundown of the media worth exploring. Offering a user-friendly venue for sharing relevant outputs from Center Steering Committee members, local partners and affiliates worldwide, “On Our Radar” highlights stories across platforms, disciplines and fields of study while celebrating the sustained efforts of those working to further free and critical media practice and scholarship.
As mounting disinformation campaigns destabilize public trust worldwide, the future of media often seems bleak and solutions can feel out of reach. Information overload has left many feeling burnt out and unmotivated to trudge through the torrent of news to extract the best stories.
From popular films and podcasts, to academic publications and conferences, “On Our Radar” highlights stories across platforms, disciplines and fields of study, all while celebrating the victories of those working to further free and critical media practice and scholarship.
