Emily Plowman is Coordinator of the Center for Media at Risk. She organizes the Center’s events and programming, serves as a resource for media practitioners, scholars, researchers and students and acts as a point person for all activities and affiliates related to the Center.

Emily earned a BA in Communications from Villanova University and her MSEd in Education Entrepreneurship at the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education. When not engaged in cultural adventures with the Center, Emily can be found wandering lakes, mountains and forests with her husband John and their two children, Darwin and Penny.
